Some recent shifts in customer preferences have led Furniture Connection to make changes in what they stock, and that's created a great opportunity for Clarksville shoppers.

Furniture Connection owner David Berggren said that lately his customers have been looking for more value-oriented furniture. "We have had to look at what were are buying and how we are buying it," he said.

During the pandemic, for example, customers were looking for any furniture that was in-stock and that they didn't have to order, including higher-end furniture at the upper price point. But the market for top-tier furniture has since cooled off.

"Gone are the days of selling $10,000 plush leather sectionals. Customers are looking for more value-oriented, mid-range furniture," Berggren said. "Right now, we are making a huge product shift."

To make room for new value-oriented furniture, Furniture Connection has some of its upper-end furniture, including FlexSteel furniture, on clearance. So now is a great time to find deals on everything from living room furniture – including sectionals, recliners and reclining furniture – to dining and bedroom furniture.
